Orange

Orange (Citrus sinensis) describes Citrus sinensis, a tree of the genus Citrus, and its fruit. When the Silk road passes through Anatolia, the citrus fruit was a commercial product from India. With the discovery of Cape of Good Hope, the trade routes have changed and the whole of orange production has been spread around Portugal, as the Asian continent has been colonized by European states. In Turkish it has entered as "Orange" in the sense of "coming from Portugal".
